Liam Hemsworth, on whether he reckons Chris would volunteer for him in The Hunger Games. (via hardylevitt)
I’d bully him just so I could see his brother. ;)

Hey everyone! I saw The Hunger Games last night. We arrived at around 8:00 pm and there were probably about 100 people in line ahead of us, which wasn’t too many considering that the entire theater (16 screens!) sold out for the midnight screenings. There was an interesting crowd there. Most of the people in line were women/girls, but there were quite a few guys too. The age range was from around 50 to 12, I’d say. The line experience was probably my worst at a midnight showing, but I blame the girl standing in line behind me. She was incredibly rude and talking VERY loudly about people standing right next to her, including my sister. Luckily, the cinema soon let us go to our seats and it turned out she wasn’t in my screening, so she didn’t end up ruining my experience.
Inside the theater itself, there were people down at the front shouting out trivia questions, many of which were spoilers. I can understand doing Hunger Games trivia at the Catching Fire midnight showing, but some people there hadn’t read the books. There was even a girl finishing the book just before the movie started.
Leading up to the movie, I did not feel nervous at all, which is how I felt when I went to the Harry Potter screenings. I was very relaxed and ready for the film.
I have only read The Hunger Games once, and that was almost two years ago. I was going to read it again a couple months ago to prepare for the movie, but I’m so glad I didn’t! I did that for the HP films and I would always dwell on the changes they made. If you’re one of those people who like to read a book leading up to a film, try not doing so sometimes! There were some things I completely forgot about and it was nice to feel a little surprised.
Now for my (VERY long) reactions. SPOILERS.
